Allen Garbutt, I hope and pray this is not my best friend in this world. I love you with all my heart. You taught me so much at BDO. I have not been same since we are not in touch. I’m sorry if I hurt you inadvertently. Just remember you are always close to my heart and soul. Ron and I are still together. I pray that you are in China. Living your best life. If this is you that I’m writing a condolence to, then may you Rest In Peace. I love you soo much and forever. I’m hurting but know that you are in a better place. This world is cruel but you will always be remembered and loved. You taught me to love life. We have a lot of good memories. I will cherish all the days of my life. Allen was the bright light in an all to murky world. His beautiful soul touched so many. I believe his light lives on through others he touched; people as well as animals. I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

Allen Garbutt was an extraordinary man: intelligent, quick-witted, wickedly funny, kind-hearted and generous. His laughter was infectious; his many kindnesses quiet and deeply-felt. He loved and cared for animals and his gentle heart was full of compassion for the less-fortunate. Humanity lost a brilliant, sweet light when he left this world.
