Friends, family, and the drumming community mourn the loss of Drumming's Global Ambassador, Dom Famularo, who passed on September 28th 2023 surrounded by his family. His legacy is immortalized by the lasting impact he had on the global community he built.

Born in 1953, Dom started his career teaching drums at a very young age, but continued on to travel the world, inspiring all he reached with his music and wisdom. He was overjoyed by every clinic, lesson, and performance over his 50 year career. His rhythmic mastery was an inspiration to musicians of all generations, and his tireless dedication to education made him an iconic figure in the drumming community.

Dom is survived by his wife, Charmaine, three sons, Dominick, Jonathan, and Maxwell and three siblings, Vincent, Peter and Annmarie. He ensured he shared his passion for music and world traveling with his family, and they are dedicated to honoring the example he set. His love and devotion to his family was felt deeply by them all.

Dom constantly challenged his students and friends to empower and inspire. He believed immensely in every single person he met – and asked only that you prove him right.
