James Hobbs of Hempstead NY Passed away Sunday March 29, 2026. He was a long time resident of A. Holly Patterson Extended Care and affectionately known as the Boxer, or the Professor. He leaves to cherish his memory, 1 son Bobby Griffith of Lumberton NC, 1 brother Hubert Hobbs of Wilmington NC and 2 sisters Jean E Hobbs of Charlotte NC and Veronica McNeil of Lumberton NC. 5 grandchildren and 6 great grands, numerous nieces and nephews.
