Kangnam Bae, who resided on the Upper West Side in New York City, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. Kangnam was born in Incheon, South Korea on September 19, 1940 to father Jong Hwan Bae and mother Byung Im Cha. He graduated second in his class at Incheon Science High School and graduated from Seoul National University. After serving in the South Korean Military, he came to New York City, where he continued his education and started his family. He worked most of his life in NYC and abroad as Vice President of PMX Industries and Poongsan Corporation.
