1942- 2023

Raymond Francis Lacinski, age 80, of New Hyde Park, NY passed away on Jan. 5th, 2023.

Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on January 29th, 1942; he was son of the late Richard and Stephanie Lacinski. The grandson of Polish immigrants, Tekla and Mieczslaw Rzeznik, who came to NYC in the early 1900's for a better life.

Mr. Lacinski was retired from Brooklyn Union Gas after 32yrs of service. He was an active member of Holy Spirit RC Church for 25yrs, serving as Eucharistic Minister and Head Usher. For many years he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ray was an avid bowler. He enjoyed the music of his generation, especially 50's rock-n-roll. He also enjoyed baseball, football, his fish tank, and politics.

He is preceded in death by his brother Larry Lacinski.

Surviving are his daughters:

-Denise Pappalardi, son-in-law

Eric and granddaughter                     Sophia

-Lisa Murphy and grandson                 Jack Ballard

His sister Lorraine Alcalde and husband George and their children and grandchildren.

And many great-neices and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
