Although this message is a late condolence (we just found out, 2022), we are truly so sad to hear that our old friend Anita has passed on. We lost contact in recent years, but we have been and will continue to be grateful that we were so lucky to have been friends with such a brilliant, adventurous, outgoing, creative and generous spirit. For a short time we were neighbors in East Setauket, when Anita was attending the Stony Brook University graduate program in Psychology. We did so many things together over the years, with sailing being one of the most memorable. We send our sincerest and heartfelt sympathy to Aaron & Diane and Kurt & Beth and their families, for their great loss. May Anita's memory be a blessing to all who knew her !!!! Love, Lowell & Sheila

Anita, You were my best friend, fellow adventurer, and greatest inspiration. I marveled at you as you threw yourself fully into life, encountering each joy and hardship with exuberance and love. The world is a much greyer place without you. All my love, Amanda

Anita you will be missed. Your were a member of our Thursday sailing group for years and sailed with us right up until this summer. Your strength and optimistic outlook was an inspiration to all of us. Our condolences to your family.

I would just like to thank Anita for her love and her dedication to a life well-lived. I wish there could be a simple memorial for her, but my prayers are with her family. She was a very unique human being, and I grateful to God that I knew her for a little while. Blessings, Anita!
