Dear Judy: I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Arthur. I always admired him on so many different levels. He was an outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon, a great husband and member of the community, and most of all a nice and generous guy. When I first met him in 1976, while working for Joe Mirabel, he was like a giant to me because of his obvious towering intellect. But I was soon put at ease by his friendly demeanor, and most of all by his joyful and enthusiastic laugh. You were also most warm to me as well, and it was my pleasure to work with Arthur on occasion in your beautiful home, overlooking that peaceful and tranquil pond. I also, from time to time, had need of his professional orthopedic services, and received nothing but the highest quality of care, with very good results. I will think of you and Arthur often, and please accept my sincere condolences, coupled with an appreciation that I knew this remarkable physician and man. Alan
