Dean Edward De Lessio

April 5, 1963 – October 8, 2021

Dean Edward De Lessio was born on April 5,1963 of Westhampton, New York passed away on October 8,2021.  Dean loved his family.  Son, to Marion and Thomas De Lessio of New Fairfield, CT and Naples, FL.  He leaves behind his mother, Marion De Lessio, of Naples, FL and his brother, Todd  De Lessio and his wife Danielle, of Brigdewater, CT, his sister, Diane Ravech, of Naples Florida, and her fiancé Dave Roy of Stafford Springs, CT, his nephews Sam Ravech and his wife, Hannah, of New York City, NY and Max Ravech, of Avon of CT.  He loved all his aunts and uncles, and all the Damuth and Anderson cousins.

Dean was born in Babylon, New York, and moved with his family to New Fairfield, CT in 1968.  He was a graduate of New Fairfield High School in 1981.  With the love and support of his parents, and his love of cooking, he opened a restaurant in Danbury, CT – – De Lessio’s, and for more than 7 years served many delicious meals to many.

He loved the family home, The Beach House, on Cold Spring Pond sailing Uncle Don’s Hobie Cat and making rooster tails behind his Glastron Gt; enjoying summers,  celebrations and  family gatherings over the years.  Dean was generous and kind to those who knew him.  A dedicated employee and mentor to many at Ocean Spray Pools and Spas for more than two decades.   A special thank you to Valerie Lattanzi, a good friend to him and his family as a coworker who provided support to him for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be arranged in Naples, FL in the future in honor of Dean, with his beloved friends and family.
