At this time we would like to express to the family of Donald Farr our deep sorrow at his passing. He was our greatly loved friend of many years with whom we shared many interests. Don was a special person, a "man for all seasons", thoughtful, highly intelligent, kind with a great sense of humor. Over the years we shared endless discussions on many subjects including politics, music, philosophy, movies, plays and always with great fire and enthusiasm. Don was always well informed and enjoyed healthy discussions. He will be greatly missed. We now extend our condolences to his wife Jean and the extended family at this time of shared mourning.

On behalf of Allied Lodge No.1170 of the Grand Lodge State of New York and our Worshipful Master Bro. Averill Thompson, we offer our deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of Bro. Donald Farr for their loss. Bro. Farr was raised as a Mason in 1988, held the title of Worshipful Master in the lodge in 1997 and has been in good standing ever since. He great brother who was held in high esteem from the brethren of the lodge and other Masons who knew him. We will continue to pray for the family during this transition, while the grief process is not easy we will do our best to support. Rest in Power Bro. Donald Farr

Quietly resilient; remarkably intelligent; oratorically gifted; humbly refined......these, but a few of Don's characteristics consistently alluded to, over the years, by his Brothers in 'The Craft'. To me, he was simply an inestimable and irreplaceable friend! Our family's deep condolence to Jean and to his entire family in their grief....even as Don is surely welcomed upon the shores beyond. For me to say that he will be missed, would be a profound understatement. God Speed, until we shall again meet, Hiram.
