Heather Therese Halagan Lee 1963-2025
Heather Therese Halagan Lee, beloved mother, age 62, passed away on June 21, 2025 in New York City, after a short illness. Heather was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in nearby Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Her death leaves a void her family cannot fill.
Heather was the devoted mother of David Lee of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Christina Lee of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and a loving daughter to the late Eugene Halagan and Florence Halagan (nee Zoldak). She was a dear sister to Laura Halagan Dillon (Steve), Mike Halagan, and Jennifer Fleming, the latter of whom predeceased Heather.
Heather loved her parents and remembered her childhood fondly. She tried to incorporate many of her family’s childhood traditions into her own family. She loved to bake and would often make custom cakes for people. She also loved a good horror movie, and music of all kinds. She was an animal lover who treasured her dogs. One of the things she loved most, and something others noticed about her, were her beautiful nails in which she took great pride.
Above all, Heather loved people and making other people happy. She was an incredibly generous person. She especially loved throwing parties and entertaining at her home. As a former military wife, she enjoyed traveling and living in different places. Heather especially enjoyed time spent living in Tokyo Japan. Heather had a huge zest for living, and a fun-loving and engaging personality.
Her children and those who loved and knew her will remember her enigmatic personality and generosity. She will be dearly missed.
