Tia Cuqui, my much loved madrina. I learned from the example that you and my padrino demonstrative for me as to how to be a loving and supportive guide to my godchild.I have not failed you. I will miss our times together having cafe cubano and patries in your kitchen. With great joy a brought you the same pastries you liked from the Portuguese bakery in Mineola, the ones we enjoyed the last time I visited you with your sister, Chela. With sorrow, I had to take them home. I ate them all in your name. You would call me goloso, you would be right.
All my love to you, padrino and Armando, I am sure that you will take care of Mami when she joins you.
Tu ahijado, Rey
