I just looked up Jean Irwin Smith to see if she was still alive. I met her quite by accident when we both were in the same restaurant on Paris. She was returning from Dubai and I was on my way home to Montana. She helped the waiter understand what I wanted and we became friends. I later tried to find her book to purchase and I was unable to find in it the US. So I sent her a card and she sent me her beautiful book and I had just pulled it off the shelf tonight to look at is again and looked her name up. I was sad to see she had passed, She was so proud of her grandchildren and I just wanted them to know that, if anyone sees this. She was a delightful end of my wonderful trip.
