It is with a heavy heart that I heard the news of Kathy's passing. We met at Stony Brook in Sociology Class 211 and 212. Professor Judy Tanur was our distinguished and tough statistics teacher who we all came to love dearly and she returned that love. It was Kathy that got me thru Judy's class, and our class, the class of 1979, has had a reunion ever since. The last pseudo reunion was a zoom call from Judy's home in Montauk to Kathy in Bellmore. It was a pleasure to hear her laughter, which was her trademark gift. We had a lot of good times. Kathy will be missed but not forgotten.
