It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Matthew Pawlak on October 23, 2023 at the age of 45.

Matthew is predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Matthew is survived by his son, Gavin Pawlak; brothers, Wade & Adam Pawlak; parents, Frederick and Regina Pawlak; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins. Many dear friends from Long Island, New York; Rochester, New York; and Seabreeze, New York

Matthew grew up in Seabreeze, NY and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating- truly anything outdoors. His hobbies were driven by his varied interests and competitive nature. He loved hot rods, bikes and anything that would go fast.

He was a skilled electrician & tradesman. He truly cared for people and was loved by so many. Matthew was aware of his imperfections and overcame many obstacles.

He was most proud of his son, Gavin. To know Matt was to know Gavin.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday November 25 at 1 pm at Saint Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1124 Hudson Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621. A celebration of life will be held immediately following.
