Today, while I was sitting at home in the quiet, I thought about you, Patrick. I miss the kid I knew...kind, cool, strong, and caring. In teaching, students come and students go. Kids become young adults and go on to live their lives. They move on... I never knew of your passing until the day I saw your Mom and Dad out at a restaurant. I was excited to talk to them to see what you were up to... I obviously asked about you waiting to hear something good, something funny. But when your Mom didn’t hesitate but to tell me the truth, I felt a rush of adrenaline through my body. My heart goes out to you. I’m hoping what we don’t understand In life will one day be explained. One day will be “alright.” The older I get the harder it gets. I just want you to know that you live inside my mind and that I hope you are at peace. Mr. Ganci
