Phyllis and l have walked the same streets in our first neighbourhoods in the Bronx, Phillis and l went to the same public schools. I had a restaurant. in Chelsea Manhattan, our adult friendship continued after many years, it was in my restaurant that Her sisiter Anne Bancroft shared many wonderful dinners, it is where l hosted a birthday dinner for Mildred Italiano, and all three siblings were present there with their husbands.[ it is where l met Mel Brooks].
