I worked with Vivien on fundraising at Queens College for two years in the mid-1990s. I always cherished her work ethic, wonderful dry sense of humor, and her support. She was an excellent friend and I am so very sad to know that she is no longer with us. The last time I was on Long Island visiting she was not well enough to see me but we did speak and that was a comfort.
