I knew Bill Plate for many years in East Hampton. He was a supporter of the arts who helped bring classical music to the Hamptons. For many years, he volunteered for Pianofest in the Hamptons. His good cheer and generosity will always remain a fond memory for me and my family. RIP, Bill!

I am thankful for Bill Plate for taking such great care of my grandmother, Eleanor Carr. He cared for her in the final years of her life and she loved spending time with him. I am so sorry to see that Bill passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family and close friends.
