Obituary

GREEN, ZACHARY G.  age 22, of Brentwood, NY, formerly of Asbury Park and Florence, New Jersey, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Brentwood, NY.  He was born on June 4, 1995, in Voorhees, New Jersey.  He was an area resident most of his life and was a 2013 Florence Township Memorial High School graduate.  He was employed at Shoprite and IHOP in Asbury Park, and more recently at a deli in Long Island, NY.  He is survived by his parents, Randy and Michele Belknap; his maternal grandparents, John and Sally Kirby; brothers, Michael Kirby (Casee), and Jonathon Green; beloved nieces, Mariyah, Meadow, Mikalynn, and nephew, Brantley; his beloved girlfriend, Cathy and cherished longtime friend, Kaitlyn, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Green, and his paternal grandparents, George and Geneva Green.

Zach loved spending time with his girlfriend, family and friends. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and a talented guitarist.

A Celebration of Life service, under the direction of Funeral Celebrant, Donna Conk, will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Atkinson Hall, New Egypt United Methodist Church, 38 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Zach’s memory to Mr. and Mrs. Randy Belknap, 21-2 Florence Tollgate Place, Florence, NJ 08518 would be appreciated to set up a memorial fund in memory of Zach.

Just when I belevivethat you and I started understanding each other this happens. I miss your. Banter back and forth and really looked for them everyday. Through your addiction I learned a lot of things. I promise that I will keep my promise to you the last time we talked I will take care of mom. Miss you. Anyone who reads this I am going to quote Zack "He'll be alright"
