Guy Steinberg

Dr. Steinberg, you were like a father to me. When I moved from Maryland to Florida in 2011 to be with my elderly mother, we never once lost contact. It was such a joy to see you in Boca Raton on 2/25/12. I didn't realize that would be the last time we met face-to-face. When my mother got deathly ill and I really needed help, you alone had the generosity to forward me more than $25,000. That is true friendship. I'm sorry that Judy was afraid of me so we couldn't talk more directly than by texting back and forth all day and all night, but I recognize that your progressing deafness also made telephone contact less palatable. Dr. Steinberg, I will miss you for the rest of my life. You were an angel, a devoted caregiver, a true friend, a verisimilitude of a father after I lost my own in 2010. Rest in the arms of God, my cherished and treasured companion and mentor.
