I grew up with Helen and her family and hung out with them when they cooked all their delicious Greek delicacies.
I saw her last several years ago when I returned back to the old neighborhood after my brother passed. It was so nice to spend some time with her and Vicky and talk. She was always so friendly and supportive and she will be missed. I am very sorry for the family she left behind.

it was decades from yesterday where we walked through the halls,
stopping to talk. or not at all
it was decades we knew you and now you have passed.
we think there is a forever but that forever is gone too fast.
this stage of life, so bitter and sweet.
faces
now fading..fait accomplit.
we are blessed for each breath, those of us that remain.
but missed are those gone, again and again...
