Dear Family & Friends, We ask for your understanding in returning our gratitude in this written fashion. These are our sentiments and ask each of you who has shared your sentiments, condolences, memories, anecdotes with us either in Legacy’s Guest Book or by correspondence or during conversation for the passing of our dear brother, Justin Paradine, to accept our words as coming from each of us (Roger, Mark, Eric & Sean) to each of you individually! We are deeply saddened by Justin’s death and the absence of his smiling face, his music, and his presence. Thank you for your prayerful thoughts and rememberences for Justin may he rest in peace. Justin was a gifted & talented man. Most notably, he loved playing electric guitar and was well known amongst Long Island bands as a great lead guitarist. He was an expert in his contracting trade (wood floor sanding / restoration); his clients appreciated his quality assurance & reliability. He liked to make things, to repurpose things, to jerryrig things. He was an articulate pen & ink drawer. Throughout his life his demeanor was selfless, generous, willing to help, always friendly, a gentle soul, a man who lived with good will towards all he met. These last 2 years he never complained and was especially grateful for his friends’ companionship, encouragement and support during his therapies and especially during the later stage of his illness. Even as the disease progressed Justin was upbeat, possessed great hope, and made plans to relocate to Jacksonville, FL to live near his daughter, Arielle, and grand daughter, Ava Rose. He was positive and did not yield to the notion that Heaven had reserved this illness as his destiny. We are postponing funeral mass and celebration of life memorials at this time due to the current environment and social guidelines caused by Coronavirus pandemic. Justin will be interred at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Please consider contributing to Justin’s Memorial and his beloved daughter, Ava Rose, education fund via Mark Paradine FaceBook page on which there is a GoFundMe link.
